The Break Through Crew was the first litter at Hazelwood Kennels. They were born on November 4, 2016. Our beautiful foundation girl Daisy had a litter of 3. Her one and only litter. Three girls that were named Einstein, Tesla and Curie. Einstein stayed here at Hazelwood Kennels and Tesla and Curie went on to their forever homes where they are loved to pieces.
Our beautiful litter was born on December 27th, 2018. We were only expecting 7 to 8 puppies but Einstein surprised us with 13 beautiful puppies. Unfortunately, one, our sweet Captain Holly, passed away and left us with 12 healthy puppies. The rest grew quickly and happily and went on to their own families. The litter consisted of 7 boys and 6 girls and included:
Wonderful photos of our puppies in their new homes. We are thankful for all of the wonderful families who have made a home for one of our puppies. And we are thankful that they are sharing their lives and growing puppies with us.
Born on March 7, 2020, the day before national woman's day, this all girl litter were absolutely perfect. These puppies were from Vinznenz Del Penon De Ifach (Baron) and KMJ Queen of all Trades (Domino). Born a week before the pandemic, and with some complications with mom, it was an interesting litter. All the girls were bottle fed from 3 days old when I spent almost as much time hunting down ingredients for the formula as I did feeding puppies...which is a lot. Mom recovered and is doing very well.
Our beautiful Jungle Book litter joined us on September 27th, 2020. They arrived within a matter of 5 hours and quickly stole the hearts of everyone who saw them. Our second Covid litter, they didn't get many visitors but still had an enriching few months. We kept Leela, who became Tulip: Hazelwood's Legacy of Daisy. The other puppies have moved on to be with their families through Ontario, out to Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan and one down to the United States.
We always do banners for the dogs and for litters. Here is a gallery of all the banners we've done. For litter banners at their 6 month milestone, please view our past litters.
Quick photos of our beautiful puppies heading off to their new homes. We love seeing the happiness our mastiff puppies bring to their families and we encourage regular contact. We are there for you and your puppy from the moment they are born until the last moments of their loving lives.
In July of 2022, we attended Kars in Lombardy, Ontario, close to Ottawa, Ontario. This was the largest turn out of mastiffs we've had to date and there were 14 mastiffs and a breeder judge for one of the show. It was a great time and hopefully we can get out to more shows with mastiffs.
We attend shows with our dogs in the hopes to have them championed. Some shows, such as the Kars album, we have the opportunity to get some great photos, other shows, we only manage a snapshot or two. For that reason, we have a generic photo album for dogs shows that we have attended.
