The Girl's Club litter was born on March 7, 2020 to our beautiful girl, now retired, Domino and Bear. We were excited for our first brindle litter and quite surprised when we found ourselves with 5 beautiful girls and only one brindle! But they were gorgeous and were born the day before International Women's Day. A few days later, Domino had complications and ended up with an emergency spay. We were left with no choice but to bottle feed the girls from three days old until they were weaned. And that made an interesting few weeks as we scrambled for ingredients for formula during the first lockdown when they were only 6 days old. This was our pandemic litter and we loved every single moment we had with them.

I really think this was my hardest litter to send home and we often joked that I was their mom instead of Domino, who was very good with the puppies and cleaned them up, despite all the pain from her spay. We kept Amelia, who is growing into a beautiful girl.

Because the girls were born the day before International Women's Day, they had litter names for great women in history.
